Cheyenne rodeo photographer creating rodeo action photography for editorial and marketing with more than 28 years of experience. I was a sophomore in high school, roping, attending team roping jackpots, high school rodeos, and I took a photography class. I loved to rope, rodeo, and then fell in love with photography. That then made me dream of roping and creating photos at rodeos to help pay my expenses to rodeo. That dream led me to college to study photography and then start my own business. I chased the rodeo photography dream for a few years, realized I couldn’t do both, missed competing, and transitioned my photography business from rodeo to a commercial and portrait photography business. I still create photography at rodeos when I get a chance, but I would rather team rope in my free time. I have had the opportunity to work with some great clients with my rodeo photography, including American Cowboy Magazine, Cheyenne Frontier Days, Heel-O-Matic, Las Vegas Events, Montana Silversmith, National Day of the Cowboy, USTRC, Wyoming Tourism, and Visit Cheyenne.
